November in Punta Mita, Mexico, marks the zenith of the fishing season, captivating both local and international angling enthusiasts. This month promises to deliver thrilling encounters with a quartet of remarkable game fish: tuna, mahi-mahi, sailfish, and marlin. For those in pursuit of exhilarating angling experiences, this is the ultimate destination and best time to be here fishing.
Adding to the excitement are two upcoming fishing tournaments. First in line is the eagerly awaited Los Muertos tournament, slated for November 3rd and 4th, ranking among the year’s most prominent events. Anticipating around 200 participating boats, this competition predominantly centers on mahi-mahi and sailfish. It magnetizes both local and international anglers and offers substantial prizes totaling 450,000 pesos. It’s worth noting that we secured second place last year, and in the preceding year, we reeled in the tournament’s largest catch. The entry fee for this year’s tournament is 6,000 pesos, in addition to the boat’s expenses. We extend our best wishes to all participants!
Following the Los Muertos tournament, the international competition commences on November 8th. Registration is now open for three action-packed days of fishing, with marlin, sailfish, tuna, and mahi-mahi as the primary targets. This tournament caters to those with a profound love for fishing and a deep appreciation for the Punta Mita fishing experience. The entry fee for the international fishing tournament is 50,000 pesos for three days of competitive angling. During this tournament, our focus will be on marlin and huge tuna.
November is celebrated for offering ideal fishing conditions. The deep, cool, crystal-clear blue waters, complemented by perfect temperatures and abundant bait fish, craft a haven for anglers in pursuit of extraordinary catches. Throughout the entire month, water temperatures hover between 78 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, beckoning a diverse array of pelagic fish.
For those inclined toward inshore adventures, our offerings include encounters with Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, mahi-mahi, and even some snapper during our 4 to 6-hour trips. Our 6-hour and 8-hour bay expeditions continue to be favored choices for fishing anglers. For the best rates fishing in Punta Mita
