We all know that May is mothers Day and excellent fishing is in Punta Mita, Mexico. If you’re visiting down here to Nuevo Vallarta in the month of May, you’re gonna be able to take out several different fishing trips. In May we have the changing of the waters where cooler water is meeting warmer water. This is great in several ways as the warmer waters bring in the larger fish and all kinds of baitfish. The mullet, shad, sardines, bonitos, and goggle-eye are just a few.
Fishing in May can be rewarding, so make sure you check the weather, water temperature, where the blue water is, and of course last but not least where the fish had been feeding the last couple of days. We always do well in May for several reasons, first and foremost, we have a lot of repeat clients so we’re on the water every day. The next big thing that helps us is terrafin which enables us to see water temps and water clarity. These combined elements help us stay on the fish and help our clients catch more fish. I always say if you find out where the fish are feeding, then you’ll have a fantastic day.
See what the boats and best Captains have been catching in Punta Mita fishing.
We will be offering short trips in the Bay on our 28-foot super panga four to six hours is perfect we’ve been landing a lot of Spanish mackerel yellowtail snapper and California Bonita additions will hold up for the month of May until the water temperature starts to rise above 78 degrees. Check out the fantastic prices we have online.
We’ll be offering similar trips on our 32 building for groups that are a little bit larger by doing the same kind of fishing, but can also venture off sure with a 32-footer it’s very comfortable for four people. Our most requested boat the 40-footer is for offshore trips looking for sailfish, marlin, tuna, and the fantastic eating mahi-mahi. These trips are usually 8 to 10 hours or can be extended depending on where the fish are running. Be sure and give us a call at our toll-free number if you have any questions about the fishing conditions, which boat you guys should take, and where the fish are biting. Will be more than happy to help out in any way.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out there on the water and happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, hopefully, you can get out there and have a fun day with us as well here in Punta Mita.
